Bearing pedestal and port configurations simplify installation

      (1) Power frame design provides flexibility in selection of drive configurations to fit your needs or space availability. Adequate spacing between heavy-duty ball bearings permits excellent radial and thrust load support.
      (2) Top mounted suction and discharge ports are standard ANSI flanged with tapped port connections (except 2" model with female NPT). Allows maximum piping flexibility.
Hydraulic design provides higher efficiencies, lower operating costs and reduced downtime
(3)Volute and impeller design reduces internal turbulence and develops highest pumping efficiencies, thereby reducing power consumption.
(4)Volute and concentric case design creates a scouring effect that virtually eliminates solids build-up in the priming chamber and dogging of priming port, thus reducing the need for manual cleaning.
(5)Pump-out vanes on rear shroud of impeller reduce pressure on shaft seal and help eliminate build up of foreign materials.
(6)External impeller adjustment allows performance improvements by adjusting impeller clearance without dismantling the pump.
Component assembly design assures lower maintenance costs
      (7) Pump can be overhauled without disconnecting piping or driver, and no special tools are required.
(8)Large wing nuts allow easy removal of hatch cover for quick access to volute, impeller, alloy steel seal plate and mechanical shaft seal.
(9)New pump performance can be restored simply by replacing the separate volute, impeller and seal plate.
      (10) Impeller is held on shaft with key and locknut for positive lock and ease of removal.
      (11) Suction inlet elbow permits easy access to reinforced neoprene check valve.
(12)Stainless steel mechanical shaft seals are commercially available.
      (13) Slinger and separate bearing chamber protect bearings from liquid contamination in the event of seal failure.
(14)All components are machined with registered fits to ensure proper assembly, tolerances and performance.
(15)Replaceable stainless steel shaft sleeves . reduce wear and extend operating life on 3"-10" pumps.

    Optional Features:-

    • Case heater
    • Thermostat for case heater
    • Non-standard flange sizes
    • Double or single seal; oil or grease lubricated; tungsten carbide, silicone carbide, and more
    • Viton® elastomers
    • Stainless steel shafts
    • Temperature control
Unique, patented design permits the front cover to be removed for inspection or replacement of the impeller, volute, seal plate and mechanical seal. By simply replacing these wearable parts, the pump can be restored to its original operating condition.

Factory Built and Tested Packaged Lift Stations
Crown packaged duplex lift stations are completely factory assembled with pumps, piping, valves, motors, controls, wiring and insulated fiberglass enclosure. A unique maintenance feature - three lockable, lift- out side panels - allows ease of inspection and service. Floor plan and enclosure provide room for service and protection from weather. Combine these factory built duplex lift station benefits with those of Crown self-priming pumps and you have an unbeatable cost/performance advantage for lift station applications. Other features include:
    • Fiberglass enclosure and epoxy-painted bases resist corrosion and weather
    • Minimum installation time on new or existing 4', 5' or 6' inside diameter wet wells
    • Pumps are individually performance- tested, and the complete package is operational-tested at the factory
    • Stations are available with 3" through 10" pumps
